Luana Piovani celebrates Neymar's "retirement" after Brazil's defeat

Actress Luana Piovani, 49, used social media, this Monday (6), to celebrate the "retirement" of player Neymar, 34, after Brazil's elimination from the 2026 World Cup.

In Instagram stories, she reposted the following phrase: "Anyway, Neymar retired. Amen."

She also shared several stories blasting the player and the Brazilian team for the game against Norway.

One of the phrases she shared stated: "Defeat has a good side: Finally, the Seleção is no longer hostage to cultural Neymarism. The Neymar era is over, thank God. With a penalty goal as a consolation prize for someone who was called up just because of a sponsor's 'pre$$sion'."

In one of the shared posts, an internet user even said that this is the "most failed generation in the country's history".

The Brazilian team said goodbye to the 2026 World Cup in the round of 16, last Sunday (5), after being eliminated with a 2-1 defeat to Norway, at Metlife Stadium, in New Jersey.
