Friends stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston revealed their desire to reunite in a new television comedy.

The actresses participated in an interview with Variety, when Lisa said that she didn't feel comfortable watching "Friends" and that she didn't feel comfortable with the audience. "I didn't love the public, but I would now. I would love you if you wanted me in a sitcom", jokes Phoebe's interpreter. "I'd love to do another one, if someone would write a good one. Let's do it! You heard it here first."

Jennifer embarks on the idea and Lisa thinks about calling Courtney Cox, who completed the female cast as Mônica. "We can do me, you and Courtney. What do you think about that?"

"Let's call it 'Amigas' (or Girlfriends), let's present this idea and develop it for people", concludes Jennifer.

"Friends" aired between 1994 and 2004, becoming a huge success on North American TV and around the world. In 2021, the cast reunited for a special called "Friends: the Reunion", in which the actors commented on their experiences during the years of recording.
