After wearing the Brazilian team's shirt again for the first time in almost a thousand days, Neymar shared an inspirational message on social media that caught the attention of Lewis Hamilton.
The attacker published the phrase "Remember who you are", known for being one of the mantras of the seven-time Formula 1 champion, who reacted to the gesture and classified the message as "very powerful".
In an interview with Hora 1, Hamilton revealed that he received a message from Neymar last week and highlighted the friendship between the two.
"I received a message from him last week. Neymar and I are always talking. great friend, he's like a brother. When I saw his post, I thought: this is really, really cool. Especially with the Brazilian shirt and everything. I thought: this is a very powerful message. And seeing him share this with his incredible fans is really cool", said the driver.
Neymar returned to defend the Seleção in the victory over Scotland, in the last round of the World Cup group stage. The match marked the striker's return to the Brazilian team after a long period away.
Now, Brazil is preparing to face Japan in the round of 16. The duel will be played next Monday (29), at 2pm (Brasília time), at the Houston Stadium.
