Lázaro Ramos posts rare photos with Wagner Moura in honor of his birthday

Actor Wagner Moura turns 50 this Saturday (27) and Lázaro Ramos, 47, published a series of rare photos in honor of his longtime friend. In the post, made on Instagram, the actor also talks about their relationship.

"Today is my brother's birthday. I've been very proud of him for a long time. I've been rooting for him for years. But I confess that it was really beautiful to see the whole of Brazil join in this support too", wrote Lázaro, referring to Moura's Oscar nomination this year for his role in "The Secret Agent".

"My dear brother, I wish you health, joy, love and many reasons to keep dreaming. Because, when you dream, work and achieve, many people dream together. Happy birthday! I love you", he adds.

In the comments, other artists and fans celebrated the date and the tribute. "Viva Wag", wrote Tais Araújo, actress and wife of Lázaro Ramos. "This guy is f*ck!!! For him, everything!!!", declared actress Regina Casé. "Beautiful friendship," commented actor Rafael Zulu. "All the happiness in the world to our Waguinho", wrote a fan page.

Lázaro Ramos and Wagner Moura have known each other for almost 30 years. Their first meeting took place when Lázaro was just 16 years old. The pair were part of the same theater company.

"I went to see a play by the group [of the theater I was part of]. I was 17, 18 years old; he [Lázaro] was 16. [In the play], he didn't speak, he was like an extra. I remember he danced and I couldn't stop looking at him", Wagner told the "Podpah" podcast.

"There's no explanation. I just looked at him; there was something different about him. When the play ended, I walked around the theater - don't ask me how, I didn't think -, something made me walk to the dressing room, to look for this guy", he continued.

Without ever having seen Lázaro Ramos before in his life, Wagner Moura decided that he would like to create a new friendship. "I looked at him and said, 'I want to be your friend' and he said to me 'then let's be friends."

With the friendship established to this day, Lázaro traveled to Los Angeles, in the United States, to accompany Wagner Moura at the Oscar awards ceremony, which took place in March this year.
