Labubu dolls can now be officially purchased in Brazil. The announcement was made by Candide, responsible for distributing the products of the Chinese company Pop Mart.
The arrival was scheduled for June 5th, but the date was changed, and the Labubu dolls only started to be sold in the country this Thursday (18th). In addition to them, items from the Hirono, Crybaby, Skullpanda, Powerpuff Girls, Pucky and Nyota lines were also launched.

Sales start simultaneously in 20 stores spread across 11 Brazilian states. All of them specialize in collectible items:
Distrito Federal: at ParkShopping in Brasília (DF);
Rio de Janeiro: at Shopping Leblon and Barra Shopping in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Plaza Shopping in Niterói (RJ);
São Paulo: at Shopping Anália Franco, Shopping Bourbon, Shopping Eldorado, Shopping Pátio Higienópolis, Shopping Marketplace, Shopping Iguatemi, as well as a store in the Liberdade neighborhood and another in Jardins;
Minas Gerais: at BH Shopping;
Bahia: Salvador Shopping;
Pernambuco: Shopping RioMar Recife;
Amazonas: in the Nossa Senhora das Graças neighborhood, in Manaus (AM);
Espírito Santo: at Shopping Vila Velha;
Santa Catarina: at Balneário Shopping, in Balneário Camboriú (SC);
Paraná: at Park Shopping Barigui in Curitiba (PR) Rihanna, Maya Massafera, Virginia Fonseca and Marina Ruy Barbosa have already appeared with the dolls hanging from bags.
The originals are sold in surprise boxes, which means that the buyer only finds out which character they received after opening the packaging. Depending on luck, it is possible to take from common models to rare versions of the collection.
After the partnership with Pop Mart, the characters helped the Chinese manufacturer to earn more than US$ 2.3 billion, according to Forbes.
Until then, Pop Mart products were not officially sold in Brazil. With the craze for dolls on social media, counterfeit versions began to be easily found in the country.
While an original Labubu cost as much as US$300 (around R$1,600) in June last year, it was possible to find replicas in the 25 de Março region for prices between R$65 and R$250, as g1 showed in June 2025.
