Kuwait activates air defense against missile and drone attacks, and sirens sound again in Bahrain

US and Iran trade attacks amid peace talks
Kuwait's army said its air defenses were intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks in the early hours of Wednesday (3, Tuesday night Brasília time).
The military asked the population to follow the safety instructions issued by the competent authorities. Any sounds of explosions heard would be the result of interceptions, the Army says.
At the same time, air raid defense system sirens sounded again in Bahrain for the first time since the April 16 ceasefire signed between the US and Iran.
No one immediately claimed the attacks.
Kuwait and Bahrain are home to US military bases in the Middle East and were targets of attacks by Iran during the war between March and June.
According to British TV BBC, 20 American installations in the Middle East were damaged by Iranian attacks throughout the war.
Attacks amid negotiations
Despite the ceasefire in force, the US and Iran have accused each other of violating the agreement in recent days. At the same time, negotiators have remained in contact in an attempt to forge a lasting peace agreement.
"The United States is also violating the ceasefire, including this morning. Violations of the ceasefire are, in themselves, indicative of misconduct and bad faith on the part of the US and only intensify the existing distrust, which, rightly, must always remain in our minds, in any interaction with the American side", declared Esmaeil Baghaei, diplomacy spokesperson Iranian woman, in her weekly conversation with journalists.
