Knicks beat Cavaliers and close to NBA Finals

The New York Knicks are one victory away from returning to the NBA finals for the first time since 1999. On Saturday night (23), the team beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108, away from home, and took a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference final.

The highlight of the match was Jalen Brunson, who scored 30 points. Mikal Bridges also had a decisive performance, with 22 points.

The Knicks led the score throughout the game and reached their tenth consecutive victory in the playoffs, a franchise record for a single postseason.

The sequence places the team as only the tenth in NBA history to achieve at least ten consecutive victories in the same playoff. Of the nine previous teams, five ended up champions.

"When we play our style of basketball, everyone participates," said Josh Hart. "I'm not surprised because we have very good players. Today we won, but on Monday it all starts again. We're still far from our goal."

In addition to Brunson and Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. OG Anunoby scored 21 points, while Hart finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals - tying a personal playoff record.

Nine of the Knicks' ten consecutive victories have come by at least ten points, including the three wins over Cleveland in this series.

Game 4 will be played on Monday night (25), again in Cleveland.
