Keith Richards comments on the future of the Rolling Stones and dismisses retirement rumors

Keith Richards once again spoke about the future of the Rolling Stones and made it clear that the legendary British band does not intend to end its activities anytime soon. According to the guitarist, the members remain motivated to record new songs and go on stage whenever possible. During the interview, Richards explained that he still feels the same enthusiasm for music as he did decades ago. For him, as long as there is inspiration and physical disposition, there is no reason to put an end to the history of the Rolling Stones. The musician highlighted that the group never worked following a rigid career plan. On the contrary, decisions were always made naturally, as new ideas for albums, tours and special projects emerged. Even after the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021, the Rolling Stones remained active, releasing the album "Hackney Diamonds" and performing performances that received great approval from the public and critics. Keith also highlighted his long-standing partnership with Mick Jagger, stating that the two continue to find pleasure in writing together and keeping one of the most influential bands in rock history alive. Over their more than six-decade career, the Rolling Stones sold hundreds of millions of records and produced classics such as "Paint It Black", "Angie", "Start Me Up", "Satisfaction" and "Gimme Shelter". Richards' statements reassure fans and reinforce that, despite the advanced age of its members, the band still does not consider retirement an immediate plan.
