Karla Nazário from Mato Grosso wins Miss Hispanic Brazil 2026

Judiciary employee Karla Nazário, 30 years old, was crowned the first winner of Miss Hispanic Brazil on Friday night (22), at an event held in Manaus (AM). Born in Rondonópolis (MT), she competed for the crown with eight other candidates and secured the right to represent Brazil at Miss Hispanic International 2026, which will take place in October, in Lima, Peru.

As a reward for the national victory, Karla will receive international training at a modeling agency in Miami, in the United States.

Karla has had a 24-year career in the world of beauty pageants, having started her career at the age of six. In the midst of her career on the catwalk, the candidate recently won fourth place in Miss Universe Mato Grosso 2026, representing her hometown.

Miss Hipanic Brasil
Debuting in the country this year with nine participants, Miss Hispanic Brasil follows the line of the global franchise, which seeks to select representatives connected to Latin American culture and identity.

In line with modern trends in beauty contests, the national regulations allow the registration of women between 18 and 32 years old, with no restrictions for married, mother or separated candidates.

Although the national stage is unprecedented, Brazil was already sending representatives to the international dispute - which turns 15 years old in 2026 and has Venezuelan Valeria Innamorato as the current title holder. In the last two years, the Brazilians in the dispute were Juliane Souto (2025) from Amazonas and Khrystma Siberth (2024) from Rondônia.

Teen Category
The spotlight in the capital of Amazonas also turned to the youth division of the contest. Manaus student Melvelyn Sophia, 16, was announced as Miss Hispanic Brasil Teen 2026.

Fluent in English and currently studying Spanish, the young woman has already started her preparation schedule aimed at the international franchise for teenagers.
