Justice authorizes R$2 billion in INSS arrears; see who gets it
The Federal Justice Council authorized the release of around R$2.5 billion to pay people who won lower-value lawsuits against federal agencies.
With the release, 208 thousand people will receive so-called "small value requests", referring to 163.4 thousand processes filed until April 2026.
Of this total, approximately R$2.1 billion corresponds to social security and assistance benefits, such as pension reviews, sickness benefits and pensions. The resources will be released to 208.9 thousand people.
When will it be paid?
Deposits follow schedules specific to the Federal Regional Courts.
To find out which day the amounts will be released for withdrawal, it is necessary to consult the information in the small value requests area available on the portal of the responsible Federal Regional Court.
