Juliette's fiancé defends Brazilian athletes after elimination from the World Cup

Professional athlete Kaique Cerveny, 28, fiancé of former BBB Juliette, 36, came to the defense of the Brazilian football team players after Norway's recent elimination from the 2026 World Cup.

Faced with criticism for the performance of those called up, the influencer shared a video on social media this Thursday (9) asking for more "empathy" from the athletes.

"Defeat always finds someone to blame. Brazil loses a World Cup and, suddenly, it seems that millions of people know exactly what should have been done. And I am one of them. The finger points quickly. Criticism arrives even before empathy," he said.

Soon afterwards, Kaique gave his view on the situation. "I'm also an athlete. I've already left a world competition knowing that I didn't deliver everything I was capable of. And you can be sure: no criticism was greater than the one I gave myself", he stated.

In his reflection, he stated that no athlete enters the competition wanting to lose.

"No one dedicates years of their life, gives up their family, faces injuries, pain, pressure and resignations to simply not care about the result. But sport never depends solely on will. There is preparation, strategy, opponent, mistakes, successes, moments, pressure... There are countless factors that those watching from the outside cannot always see", he guaranteed.

In the end, Juliette's fiance reinforced the importance of empathy for high-performance athletes. "I have empathy for any athlete who loses, because I know the weight that each defeat carries. The athlete is the first to take responsibility. [...] I never lose. Either I win, or I learn", he concluded.
