Journalist calls for dismissal of Tunisia coach after World Cup defeat
Tunisian coach Sabri Lamouchi was fired by the Tunisian Football Federation after the African team suffered a 5-1 defeat to Sweden in a Group F game. The information comes from journalist Romain Molina.
Lamouchi was announced as Tunisia coach in January and worked in just five games. During this period, there were three defeats, one draw and one victory.
Former player Wahbi Khazri, Lamouchi's assistant, should lead the team following the World Cup.
Tunisia returns to the field next Sunday (21), in a duel to be held in Monterrey (Mexico) against Japan. Afterwards, they will face the Netherlands on the 25th in Kansas City.
