Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus confirmed this Thursday (21) his departure from Al-Nassr shortly after winning the Saudi Championship title. In an interview with Canal GOAT, the coach revealed that the 4-1 victory over Damac marked his last match in charge of the team.

"This is the last game I played at Al-Nassr. I'm going to Portugal, I'm going to spend two, three or four days on vacation in Portugal. Then I think about going to Brazil, I think about going to Rio", he said.

When asked about the possibility of taking over a Brazilian club, Jorge Jesus ruled out any negotiations at the moment and reinforced that the trip to the country will only be for rest.

"Yes (I'm going to Brazil), but not to train. I'm going to Brazil just to take a vacation", he added.

The statement came shortly after Al-Nassr confirmed the national title in the final round of the Saudi league. The coach ends his time in Saudi football on a high, with another achievement under his belt and surrounded by expectations about the next steps in his career.

At 71 years old, Jorge Jesus continues to be a name constantly linked to Brazilian football, especially after his remarkable spell at Flamengo in 2019, when he won the Libertadores and the Brazilian Championship in the same season.
