Joe Jonas reveals audition to be Jennifer Aniston's love interest

Joe Jonas, 36, revealed that he auditioned to play Jennifer Aniston's love interest on "The Morning Show." In this Tuesday's episode (26) of the podcast "Hey Jonas!", the singer talked about the audition for the Apple TV drama series.

"I'll tell you a story about arriving too early that ruined everything for me. It was an audition," Joe said.

He explained that he arrived early for the audition and ended up listening to two other actors audition.

"I didn't bring headphones, so I was literally sitting in silence, reading the lines. I just broke down." According to him, the audition was "terrible" because he felt tense listening to the contestants.

Joe Jonas said they allowed him to read the lines. But he said he was fine. However, at the time of the audition, he forgot the text.

All the lines "just disappeared from my head" as soon as he entered the room. "It was a terrible audition."

During the podcast, Nick Jonas also commented on what happened and detailed that the role was for Jennifer Aniston's "romantic interest in the series".
