João Pedro Chaseliov shaves his hair to play Paulo Gustavo in a play; look
Actor João Pedro Chaseliov, 21, shared this Tuesday morning (26) that he shaved his hair to play Paulo Gustavo in the play that narrates the life of the comedian who died in 2021.
According to João, the choice was part of his creative process and the intention is that he will have to spend less time on makeup, as the daily placement of a latex prosthesis would take time and could come off during the show.
In the video published by the young man, Jú Amaral, Paulo Gustavo's sister and creator of the project alongside Dona Déa Lúcia, appears to help Chaseliov with the new look. "A lot of emotions in one video", he added in the publication's caption.
In the footage, the two still joke about the situation and João even asks, laughing, if his "head was good and round". "Beautiful with or without hair, guys", "Wow, I want to watch this musical so much, you're going to rock it", "I'm just going to see you bald", wrote some internet users.
In the end, João also shared some clicks in which he appears dressed in Paulo Gustavo's costume and alongside the rest of the cast during a photo shoot.
Entitled "Meu Filho É Um Musical", the production pays homage and narrates the life of the comedian. The show premieres this Thursday (28th) and will run at Teatro Multiplan, in Rio de Janeiro, until July 19th.
