João Gomes' wife shows before and after post-puerperium: "My best"

The wife of singer João Gomes, Ary Mirelle, 24, commented on her focus on changing her body since her last pregnancy, with her youngest daughter Joaquim, who was eight months old. She is also mother to Jorge, 2 years old.

Ary published a video to motivate her followers and said that she felt discouraged, thinking she couldn't do it. "I've also been in the place of thinking I wouldn't be able to do it. I've also been in the place of 'I'm just going to eat, I'll never be able to lose weight'. I've also been in a rut and said I'd never be able to have a better body."

She remembers that she compared herself to other women and believed that she would only achieve good results through surgery, that she would not be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and exercise routine. Ary adds that he "didn't have the energy" to play with his children and had low self-esteem.

However, she says she managed to put her old habits aside eight months ago, since her second birth. "This isn't just about aesthetics, it's about health. My rates were altered and my children needed a good, happy and healthy mother, so this is for me, for my children, for my family."

Ary sends a message to her followers who are experiencing the postpartum period and reminds them that it is a temporary phase that has an end. She says: "When it passes, you reinvigorate yourself and remember who you always were. Your son (...) will be your greatest willpower. Take care and prioritize yourself, women."
