João Fonseca x Djokovic: find out everything about the duel at Roland Garros

João Fonseca and Novak Djokovic promise a lot of excitement this Friday (29), in a match valid for the third round of Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam of the year.

With the absence of world number two, Carlos Alcaraz, injured, and the elimination of favorite Jannik Sinner, Djoko has a better chance of winning his 25th Grand Slam title.

But the Serbian won't have an easy time, as João Fonseca has had a consistent season and has proven that he can play hard against the best in the world.

In March, in a duel against the number one, the 19-year-old from Rio took Sinner to the limit. The Italian only managed to win in Indian Wells in a tie-break.

In the same month, João fell to Alcaraz at the Miami Open in a close match. The Spaniard only managed to win after a double 6-4.

The duel between the Brazilian and the Serbian takes place on the Philippe-Chatrier court, the main court of the French Open.

João secured his place in the third round after eliminating Croatian Dino Prizmic in a spectacular upset. Previously, he had beaten Frenchman Luka Pavlovic.
