Banker Daniel Vorcaro, who is arrested by the Federal Police (PF), helped finance the film about Jair Bolsonaro. The information was revealed this Wednesday (13) by the Intercept Brasil portal, which had access to messages exchanged between the two and an audio sent by Flávio to the banker in September last year (listen to the audio in the video above).
TV Globo confirmed with investigators and people with access to the information the content of the report and the existence of the audio.
In Flávio's audio, he mentions names involved in the production of the film:
"Imagine us defaulting on Jim Caviezel, in Cyrus [Nowrasteh, director of the film], the guys, really renowned in American cinema, worldwide. Wow, it would be very bad. Every positive effect that we are sure will come with this film could have the effect reduced to one less, man."

The 57-year-old American actor is best known for "The Passion of the Christ" (2004) and for having participated in more conservative films in recent years, such as "Sound of Freedom" (2023).
Cyrus Nowrasteh (mentioned in the audio as "Cyrus"): director of feature.
The 69-year-old American filmmaker has worked on films for TV, such as "After the Attack", and for cinema, such as "The Stoning of Soraya M.".
He was previously involved in a U.S.-Brazil co-production when he wrote the screenplay for "Jenipapo" (1995) with director Monique Gardenberg.
What is known about the film
"Inspired by real events, 'Dark Horse' follows Jair Bolsonaro, a controversial outsider who rises from an unknown army captain to populist leader in the presidential race in a deeply polarized Brazil, only to face a deadly assassination plot that transforms his fight against a system corrupt in a battle for survival, truth and the soul of a nation", says the official synopsis, according to the website Deadline.
"From its conception, when Mario brought me the story of 'Dark Horse', it was conceived not as a biographical portrait, but as a tense political thriller about power, media and faith under attack, with cultural significance not only in Brazil, but in all countries", said the director to Deadline.
"The story of the unlikely rise of Jair Bolsonaro and the attack he suffered in 2018 they served as a basis for investigating how far established systems can go to preserve themselves - and how a politician can become the receptacle of a nation's hopes and fears."
Understand the case
Banker Daniel Vorcaro helped finance a film about Jair Bolsonaro - and the negotiations involved direct contacts with the former president's son, the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), which was pushing for payments.
According to the Intercept, Vorcaro paid R$61 million for the production of the film "Dark Horse" between February and May 2025. The money, according to the website, was transferred to a fund in the United States of an ally of another son of the former president, former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro.
The senator was questioned by reporters about the issue upon leaving the Federal Supreme Court (STF), but just left the interview saying it was "private money".
