The Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the "Consular Guide for Brazilian Fans - World Cup 2026", with guidelines for Brazilians who intend to travel to the United States, Canada and Mexico during the tournament.

The material brings together information on required documentation, immigration rules, contacts of the Brazilian consular network, procedures in cases of emergency and safety recommendations.

According to Itamaraty, the guide also presents instructions on access to local services, the operation of consular services and guidance for situations such as loss of documents, hospitalizations and detentions.

The government also recommends that travelers take out international health insurance and carry medicines accompanied by a medical prescription, preferably translated.

The document is available on the federal government's Consular Portal and is part of Brazil's preparation for the 2026 World Cup, which will be played for the first time in three countries and will feature 48 participating teams.

The complete guide can be accessed on the official Itamaraty portal.
