Itamaraty has protected Brazil's interests in the face of sanctions, says Vieira

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, stated this Wednesday (10) that the Brazilian Foreign Ministry will continue to protect Brazilian interests in the face of economic sanctions from the United States.

"Always guided by the defense of sovereignty, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has acted with firmness and strategic vision in protecting Brazilian commercial interests in the face of the imposition of unjustified unilateral sanctions against the country", said Mauro Vieira, during the opening of the Council meeting, at Itamaraty, this Wednesday.

Remembering the World Cup, which will have the opening game held in Mexico City this Thursday, the 11th, the Minister of Foreign Affairs also said that Itamaraty will continue to defend Brazilian sovereignty in a scenario where patriotism is amplified by the population.
