Italian court accepts appeal and denies extradition of Carla Zambelli

The Italian court denied the extradition of Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) in one of the cases against her in the country. The decision responds to a request from the defense, judged this Friday (22). The former deputy has been imprisoned in Italy since July 2025, after her name was included in Interpol's Red Diffusion as an international fugitive.
