Neymar and Bruna Biancardi announced this Monday (15) that they are awaiting the arrival of the couple's third daughter.
In the pregnancy announcement video, the Santos and Brazilian national team player joked that he would form a band that would be called Spice Girls, in reference to the British girl group that was successful between the 1990s and 2000s.
Afterwards, Neymar "updated" the musical reference to more current times, saying that his daughters would form a K-pop group.
"It's going to be K-pop!", he announced.

The player's speech was not random. According to himself, the musical genre, which in the last decade has become a global phenomenon, is the most listened to in his home. But not because of him.
On May 10th this year, after Santos' victory over RB Bragantino in the Brazilian Championship, Neymar received the award for best athlete on the field - his third in the competition.
On leaving the field, he won the chance to choose a song to celebrate the milestone. It is worth remembering that, in his first stint with Santos' professional team, between 2009 and 2013, he became known for dictating musical trends.
Bruna Biancardi is pregnant with Neymar's third daughter.

When asked which song he would choose, the reporter even tried to help him by asking if he would choose some of his favorite genres (pagode, funk or gospel), but the number 10 couldn't choose on his own.
"I'm trying to remember one here, but it's difficult. I'll choose it for my daughter: "Golden", by [Guerreiras do] K-Pop. She listens to that at home, I don't listen to music anymore", he explained.
The daughter in question is Mavie, 2 years old, his first child with Bruna Biancardi. In videos on the internet, the child has already shown his affection for the genre born in South Korea.

"Golden" is the main single from the film "K-Pop Warriors", on Netflix. A success with the public and critics, the film won the Oscar for best animated feature and the music won the category for best original song.
The song was also nominated in the categories of best pop performance by duo/group and song of the year at the 2026 Grammys.
In the last decade, K-Pop has become a global phenomenon, largely due to the success of names like BTS, TWICE, BLACKPINK and Stray Kids -- the latter, in fact, will be one of the main attractions at Rock in Rio this year.
In 2022 - that is, before Mavie is born -, Neymar will already demonstrated that he was up to date with the world of K-pop.
