French striker Michael Olise became the target of a real Brazilian invasion on social media after a statement resonated with fans this week. Despite the barrage of provocations, some internet users came to Olise's defense and tried to contextualize the interview. According to these fans, the attacker had not made a direct provocation towards Brazilian football, but merely said that he could not remember, at that moment, a specific name of the country.

The situation, however, was enough to mobilize thousands of Brazilians on the networks, repeating a behavior that is already common on the national internet when international figures make comments that are interpreted as criticisms of Brazil.
