A photo is circulating on social media that supposedly shows a fight between the former minister and pre-candidate for the government of São Paulo Fernando Haddad (PT) and journalist Renata Lo Prete, presenter of Jornal da Globo, on the set of the program "Roda Viva", on TV Cultura. It's #FAKE.

What does the fake image look like?
The "photo" went viral on Instagram in March. The caption says: "Renata Lo Prete and Fernando Haddad argue on the program 'What's this story, Porchat?'. 'You're lying to millions of Brazilians': how Renata Lo Prete knocked out the Finance Minister live on the GNT channel. We need your subscription on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and X. Leave your comment, like, share. See the full article on tvnpiaui."
In the fake image, a character also appears representing journalist Vera Magalhães, former presenter of "Roda Viva".
In addition to mixing two programs ("Roda Viva", from TV Cultura, and "What story is this, Porchat?", from GNT), the description omits that the image was created with artificial intelligence (AI), as evidenced by detection tools, and that the link promotes a high-risk investment platform (understand details below in this check).
By clicking on the link indicated in the caption, the user arrives at a website with a false report dated March 20, 2026. The page displays the same photo of the "fight" and repeats the title and fine line of the Instagram post.
The text has a false description: "What could have turned them into adversaries? The topic of discussion seemed quite common: 'How to protect your savings in 2026?'. But it was precisely this topic that triggered an explosive confrontation, live, in front of millions of viewers. The discussion was so heated that Fernando Haddad took off the microphone and literally left the studio, to the astonishment of Fábio Porchat."
Further on, comes the simulation of a verbal conflict between Haddad and Lo Prete, with the false allegation that the presenter defended a platform presented as an AI system capable of generating income automatically - with promises of earnings of R$17,000 to R$28,000 per month and a deposit requirement of R$600.
Fato ou Fake submitted the platform's link address to AI tools that considered it "suspicious". This is because it repeatedly redirects you to new pages, a common behavior on fake financial platforms and phishing campaigns (theft of data and/or money).

⚠ Why is it #FAKE?
Fato ou Fake submitted the image to two platforms that identify content created with AI, and both highlighted the use of this resource. See the analysis results (and infographics below):
Synth ID Detector - The tool, which identifies content generated specifically with Google's AI models, pointed out: "SynthID detected in all or part of the uploaded content." This technology inserts a watermark that is imperceptible to humans (who cannot verify the indicator just by watching the scenes or listening to the audio), but detectable by the system. Unlike other models that generate deepfakes from real materials, Google's AI produces hyper-realistic scenes from scratch, that is, without reference to anything previously published.

When contacted, Haddad's press office responded: "This is yet another fake news that aims to deceive unsuspecting people on the internet. It is not true, these images are false and generated with artificial intelligence". Porchat, Vera Magalhães and TV Cultura also denied the content.
On Friday (5), Jornal da Cultura aired a report on scams that take advantage of the image of programs and professionals linked to the broadcaster - one of the examples shown was precisely the "photo" with Haddad and Lo Prete.
On that same date, Cultura's official Instagram profile published the following statement: "The Padre Anchieta Foundation [responsible for the broadcaster] alert: scammers are creating fake videos, with artificial intelligence, using the Roda Viva program, on TV Cultura. This content is circulating on social networks, and when the user clicks on the link to these publications, their personal and banking data may be exposed." When making an investment decision, it is important that the investor checks whether the institution is registered with the CVM and evaluates the origin of the information received, and that he does not believe promises of high, fast and low-risk returns, common characteristics in irregular schemes". images created with AI lead to high-risk investment website
