Israel attacked Lebanon again this Tuesday (9), in a new challenge to the president of the United States, Donald Trump.
The target of the attacks was the city of Tyre, in southern Lebanon. Thousands of residents fled the city, according to local authorities.
Iran said it would respond to any new Israeli offensive.
Iran and Israel suspended mutual attacks this Monday (8), following an appeal from the President of the United States, Donald Trump. However, both sides maintained a threatening tone.

On Sunday (7), Iran attacked Israel in retaliation for Israeli bombings against Lebanon in recent days.
Hours later, Israel responded and bombed three points on Iranian territory, including targets in Tehran.
On Monday morning (8), Trump appealed for both countries to stop the attacks: "Israel and Iran must immediately stop the 'shooting'".
Hours later, Iran's military command announced the suspension of the attacks and said he gave a "painful response" to Israel.
Half an hour later, it was Israel's turn to announce the interruption of the bombings aimed at Iran.
Despite the suspension of the attacks, the Israeli Prime Minister maintained the threats. Benjamin Netanyahu stated that if Iran attacks Israeli territory again, Israel will respond "with force".

Citing government sources, the news agency Reuters stated that Israel decided to stop the attacks after the Israeli prime minister spoke on the phone with Trump - last week, the two spoke fell out after the North American demanded that Netanyahu stop the attacks on Lebanon - a request that was ignored by Israel.
The suspension of Israeli attacks, however, will only apply to bombings on Iran, and the offensive in Lebanon will continue, said the source heard by Channel 12.
The TV network report also stated that the Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon will continue with full force in the coming days and that there will also be bombings on the capital Beirut if the terrorist group Hezbollah continues attacking northern Israel.

Israel releases first images of the attack on Iran
The Israeli Armed Forces earlier released images of the attack on Iranian territory. The bombing was in retaliation for the missiles that Tehran launched on Sunday (7).
The images, according to Israeli forces, show the moment when Israeli missiles hit Iran's air defense systems (see above). In a statement, the Israeli Armed Forces stated that the affected systems housed missiles intended to target aircraft.
Iran on Monday (8) blamed the United States for the exchange of attacks it carried out with Israel over the weekend.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, also stated that Israeli actions cannot be dissociated from American policies. According to Baghaei, the new attacks only worsen the "chaotic diplomatic process" with the United States and further increase Tehran's distrust of Washington.
Esmaeil Baghaei added that the US bears direct responsibility for the recent ceasefire violations and that Israel does not take independent measures without consulting Washington.
