iShares ETFs: how to invest abroad without leaving B3
Publicidade

The most valuable companies in the world have trillions of dollars in market value and play a central role in the transformations of the global economy. Technology and innovation giants, many of them linked to the advancement of artificial intelligence, are leading this movement and attracting the attention of investors around the world.

Accessing this group, however, has always required knowledge, time and, in most cases, opening an account outside Brazil. For the individual investor, this set of steps acted as a barrier to entry for years.

By B3, this path became shorter. BlackRock's iShares ETFs allow access to hundreds of global companies in a single operation, using the same brokerage and the same home broker that the investor already uses on a daily basis.

What's inside an ETF
ETF is a fund that replicates an index. The manager sets up the portfolio following public and objective rules, without discretion in choosing assets. In other words, the investor knows exactly what he is buying.

The iShares ETFs traded on B3 replicate indices composed of companies of different sizes, from small caps to technology mega-caps, in different regions and sectors: artificial intelligence, consumption, health, finance, among others. And passing through the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania, in their individual blocks or countries. A single quota gives simultaneous access to dozens or hundreds of companies.

Three characteristics explain the growing adoption among retail investors. The composition of the fund is public and auditable. Shares are traded daily, with liquidity and price formed in real time. And management fees tend to be lower than those of actively managed funds.

For those who want exposure to trends like artificial intelligence, digitalization and global growth without building an international portfolio from scratch, iShares ETFs offer direct access with fewer steps and less operational friction.
