The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated this Wednesday (17) that Iran would have used a nuclear weapon as soon as it was built, and that the country would eliminate the entire Middle East with the weapon.

"They were going to eliminate the entire Middle East, including Israel, and if they had a nuclear weapon, they would have used it in a matter of moments after obtaining it," said Trump during a press conference in France.
The accusation against Iran was one of the main arguments used by the US president at the press conference, defending the merits of the war waged together with Israel against Tehran, and praising the peace agreement signed with the Iranian government on Monday which, according to him, "is the beginning of a very greater".
According to Trump, Iran represented an urgent threat at the time the conflict began, and in the current agreement the Iranians agreed "not to seek, purchase or produce a nuclear weapon". He added that the government in Tehran "has acted appropriately in recent weeks."
Despite this, the American president once again threatened Iran by saying that he will return to bombing the Middle Eastern country if it does not like the development of negotiations based on the agreement already signed.
