Trump calls for new adjustments to the ceasefire agreement with Iran
Iran conditioned this Monday (1st) any agreement with the United States on the implementation of an effective ceasefire in Lebanon.
In his weekly press conference, the spokesman for Iranian diplomacy, Esmaeil Baghaei, commented on the expansion of Israeli operations in Lebanese territory and said that the end of the attacks is essential for negotiations on peace:
"We insist that a ceasefire in Lebanon is an essential condition for any agreement aimed at ending the war."
The spokesperson also accused Washington of continuing to violate the ceasefire with Tehran and stated that Iran will not hesitate to adopt any measures it deems necessary to defend its national security.
"The United States is also violating the ceasefire, including this morning. Violations of the ceasefire are, in themselves, indicative of misconduct and bad faith on the part of the US and only intensify the existing distrust, which, rightly, must always remain in our minds, in any interaction with the American side", he declared.

At this stage, our priority is to end the war," he said, after American President Donald Trump declared that he had obtained guarantees from Iran that it will not develop nuclear weapons.
