Intimate garden, white tuxedo, prohibited cell phones: the details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, according to guests

The groom wore a white tuxedo, the couple wrote their own vows and Stevie Nicks sang, according to guests at this Friday's wedding (3) between music superstar Taylor Swift and American football player Travis Kelce.
The ceremony took place in an intimate garden built especially for the occasion inside the Madison Square Garden arena, in New York. The venue normally hosts basketball and hockey games, as well as shows and other events.

Details of the luxurious wedding, kept under strict secrecy, began to emerge this Saturday (4). The union was confirmed on large advertising panels that displayed the message "JUST MARRIED!".
The pop singer and the player did not release photos. Furthermore, they banned the use of cell phones during the ceremony. Some guests, however, shared details of the event.

Several described a garden setting inside the closed, windowless arena, where thousands of people typically watch basketball games, hockey games, rock concerts or ice performances. The location was seen as an unusual choice for exchanging vows.
The setting was "as intimate as possible, considering it was Madison Square Garden," host George Stephanopoulos said on ABC's "Good Morning America." "A true garden within a Garden. Simply beautiful."
"It's hard to imagine that such a large venue and a wedding with so many stars could feel so personal and so intimate," he said.
Swift's team said the couple wore looks from luxury brand Christian Dior, but released few other details. A representative for the singer did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment. No official photos were released.
Presentator Robin Roberts, from the American TV program "Good Morning America", said the wedding had many personalized touches.
"They had neighbors and friends from high school," she said. "It was like any wedding you could attend."

The event, however, brought together a high-level guest list. Among the celebrities seen entering or leaving Madison Square Garden on Friday were Selena Gomez, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Paul McCartney, Gracie Abrams, Jason Sudeikis and Hugh Grant. According to the press, more than 1,000 people were invited.
Roberts also confirmed the performance of Stevie Nicks, former lead singer of Fleetwood Mac and long-term solo artist, friend of Swift. She also said that the bride and groom wrote their own vows.
