Interpol includes suspect of shooting Rota lieutenant on red list
Interpol (International Police) included the name of the suspect of shooting Rota lieutenant, Ronickson Pimentel dos Santos, on the corporation's red list of wanted people following a request from the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat.
Hércules da Costa Siqueira, known by the nicknames "Goliath" and "Peruca", has been on the run since last Friday (2), after having his temporary arrest ordered by the 2nd Criminal Court and Jury of São Caetano do Sul. According to intelligence information, there is a "concrete risk" of the suspect escaping abroad, including via irregular border routes.
The publication in Red Diffusion determines that, if the wanted person is located in any Interpol member country, the competent authorities carry out their provisional arrest and immediately notify the Interpol National Central Office in Brasília, for the adoption of extradition measures provided for in international agreements.
"Golias" is identified as the shooter in the attack on the lieutenant of the elite troop of the São Paulo Military Police. He allegedly fired shots at the soldier while the victim was traveling on a motorcycle along Avenida Goiás, in São Caetano do Sul, being hit in the head.
This Sunday (5), the São Paulo Civil Police announced that it is offering a reward of R$50,000 for information leading to the location of the suspect. Information can be provided anonymously by calling 181 or through the Public Security Secretariat portal.

To date, two suspects have been temporarily arrested for the attack on the lieutenant. In addition to Hércules, a suspect involved in the crime was killed in a confrontation with Rota soldiers on Thursday night (2) in Peruíbe, on the coast of São Paulo.

Police officers looking for the suspect believe that he and his family had received support from his father-in-law, staying hidden between the night of last Sunday (26) and the early hours of Monday (27).
The investigation also works with the thesis that the wife could have helped "Goliath" escape, altering her appearance.
