INSS ordinance authorizes adjustment of servers to reinforce sector that evaluates BPC requests

A decree from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) authorized the functional adaptation of 80 assistants and analysts to reinforce the sector of the agency that evaluates requests for social and social security benefits from people with disabilities, such as the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC). Professional Rehabilitation) may be relocated to carry out Social Assessments.
The ordinance has a term of 90 days, which may be renewed for another 45 days. The document establishes that the following regional superintendences will be reinforced:
Northeast: 30 servers
North/Central-West: 13

According to the ordinance, The adherence of employees to functional adaptation will be voluntary, with priority for those:
with a profile for providing remote care;
who already participate in the Benefits Management Program;
who do not carry out hybrid activities between the Professional Rehabilitation Service and the Social Service.
Critical association
The National Association of Social Security Analysts (Anaseg) criticized the ordinance, stating that the measure harms and leaves uncovered the area that trains and prepares people with temporary disabilities to return to work.
Anaseg states that the way to face the INSS queues is not to move employees from one area to another, but to "expand" the workforce and strengthen services.
The entity states that the INSS ordinance weakens the professional rehabilitation service and that it will demand from the government "a structural solution for the recomposition of staff" of employees. Bolsa Família until the government's analysis of BPC requests is completed.
The measure created a kind of "transition period" between the two benefits and allows the BPC request to proceed for analysis even if the family's income exceeds the amount allowed under Bolsa Família.
