Influencer Logan Paul mourns Oliver Tree's death: "Still in denial"

Influencer and professional fighter Logan Paul, 31, published this Monday (15) a text on social media lamenting the death of his friend and singer Oliver Tree, 32. The fatality occurred last Sunday (14) as a result of a plane crash between two helicopters in Rio de Janeiro.

"I'm still in denial that one of my favorite people is no longer with us. I'm absolutely devastated; words can't describe how special Oliver was to so many people. Tragedy took the lives of so much creativity, vibrancy and talent too soon," began Paul.

Along with the text, the fighter shared a click of the duo laughing and posing for the camera during one of their recent meetings. In the comments, fans offered their condolences and support to the influencer.

"I'd like to think he's on his next adventure somewhere in the universe. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I don't even know how to process this. Rest in peace, Lucas Vignale, Lucas Chaves, Gaspi & Oliver. Love you brother, we'll all miss you," he concluded.

Tree was in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, enjoying a few days after his performance in São Paulo on June 6th. With more than 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify and around 20 million followers, the singer has popular hits on social media such as "Life Goes On" (2020) and "Miss You" (2022).

According to initial information, the artist was on his way to Angra dos Reis in a helicopter, to record a project with producer Lucas Frota, Argentine director Lucas Vignale and Argentine youtuber Gaspi.

The fatality occurred in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes region, in the southwest zone of Rio. According to the State Civil Police, of the six victims, five were in a helicopter and only the pilot was in the other aircraft.
