In its 1st convention, Mission will launch Renan Santos as President in SP

Missão scheduled the event for August 1st to officially launch Renan Santos' candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic. This will be the party's first party convention, which had its creation approved by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) in November 2025.

The party chose Koplexo Tempo, an events center in the capital of São Paulo to hold the event. The space was used by the group at the end of last year to hold a national MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre) congress. The information was confirmed by Renan Santos to CNN Brasil.

São Paulo is the political birthplace of Renan Santos and the MBL - who gained visibility especially after organizing demonstrations and organizing for the impeachment of former president Dilma Rousseff.

On this occasion, the party will also make official the choice of Aroldo Medina (Missão) to be vice-president in the dispute for Palácio do Planalto. The choice was announced on Wednesday (1st) at an event in Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul.

Most of the competitive presidential candidates chose São Paulo to hold their convention. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) will do so on August 2; Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), on July 25; Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), on July 26th.

Novo did not define the location of the event to launch Romeu Zema.
