Erling Haaland even scored the goal to qualify Norway for the round of 16 of the World Cup. The team, however, had other protagonists in the victory over Ivory Coast who could complicate life for the Brazilian team in the next phase.

Forward Antonio Nusa was the one who opened the scoring, with a great goal that broke the stagnation of the match, truncated by physical disputes. He showed quality dribbling, speed and good finishing.

"It means everything to me (to have scored the goal). It's really what I've dreamed of since I was a little kid. And being able to show the kids in Norway that it's possible here is also really cool. So I hope I can continue with this and I'll really enjoy the moment", said the number 20.

Another player who was decisive in the victory was Patrick Berg. The midfielder was the one who received the ball, invaded the area and released it for Erling Haaland to touch and score the qualifying goal.

Berg plays for Bodo/Glimt, a team that caught the eye in last season's Champions League by beating Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City. In the play-offs, the team eliminated Inter Milan, before falling to Sporting.

"Patrick is a player who, at a high level, like today, is perhaps the best when it comes to putting pressure on the opponent. He is also very disciplined in defense, makes few mistakes and is tactically competent", praised Norwegian coach Stale Solbakken, in a press conference after the game.

Berg had only started until then in the defeat suffered by France, in which Norway rested players. He took over the starting line-up in the first knockout game. "He's an exemplary player, both on and off the field. He's used to being a reference. He's someone you can trust", concluded the coach.

The round of 16 match between Brazil and Norway will be on July 5th, at 5pm (Brasília time), at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford.
