The third day of the 2026 World Cup is over and, with it, the debut of several teams besides Brazil - which drew with Morocco 1-1. Yesterday (13), Qatar, Switzerland, Haiti and Scotland also entered the field. In the early hours of this Sunday (14), Australia and Türkiye also kicked off the World Cup. (See the results below)

Brazil's opponents, the teams of Haiti and Scotland also faced each other yesterday.
The Scots beat the Haitians 1-0 with a goal from midfielder John McGinn, in the 28th minute of the first half - guaranteeing 3 points and the leadership of the Europeans in group C.

In the early hours of this Sunday (14), Australia x Turkey played the first game of this World Cup that went past midnight (Brasília).
The Australians beat the Turks 2-0, with goals from Nestory Irankunda, in the 27th minute of the first half, and Connor Metcalfe, in the 30th minute of the second half.

Scotland x Brazil - 3rd round: June 24 (Wednesday), at 7pm Brasília (6pm local time), at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami/United States.
If they finish the group stage at the top of the group, Brazil will face the second place in Group F in the round of 16, formed by the Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia and Sweden. Furthermore, first place guarantees that the Brazilian team will remain in the United States throughout the World Cup.
