This Saturday morning (4), Corinthians hosted Juventus-SP, at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, in their eighth match of the classification phase of the Paulista Under-17 Championship and won 4 x 2. Timão's goals were scored by Gustavo Sales, Kevin Fernando, Luan Banhado and Jerry Vinicius. With the result, the Corinthians team reached 19 points - six wins, one draw and one defeat - 30 goals scored and 10 conceded, occupying second place in Group 12.
Coach Guilherme Nascimento chose the following team to start the match: Matheus Alemão; Kevin Fernando (Brenno Augusto), Felipe Aguirra (Estevão Balarin), Ronaldo Henrique and Pedro Nogueira (Léo Amitá); Ji-Paraná (Lucas Lopes), Pedro Fernandes, Rhyan Ladeira (Miller Henrique), Piracicaba (Lucca Caramico), Jerry Vinicius; Gustavo Sales (Rafael Luiz) and Luan Banhado. The reserve bench had the following options: Rafael Alencar, Brenno Augusto, Estevão Balarin, Lucão 'Lucas Lopes', Rafael Luiz, Miller Henrique, Miguel Moscardo, Lucca Caramico, Léo Amistá.

After facing Juventus at home, Corinthians resumes its focus on the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. Next Tuesday (7), Alvinegro will face Palmeiras, at Neo Química Arena, in the seventh round of the classification phase of the national tournament. Currently, Timãozinho occupies fourth place with 11 points - three wins, one draw and two defeats, with 17 goals scored and six conceded. The rival leads the competition with 18 points - 100% success.
First half
The first minutes of the match between Corinthians and Juventus-SP saw the Corinthians team launching into the attack. In the first minute, Timão missed an incredible chance. Rhyan Ladeira won the fight on the right and served Luan Bandado, inside the area, who shot over the opposing goalkeeper! Shortly afterwards, Alvinegro made a mistake with the ball at the edge of the penalty area and the rival almost opened the scoring, but Alemão made the save.
After four minutes, Juventus tried to attack on the left side, but Felipe Aguirra arrived firmly in coverage! Then, Timão's first goal! After a play on the right, Banhado reversed to Rhyan Ladeira, who rolled for Gustavo Sales, with his right leg, to land at half height into the goalkeeper's left corner! Great goal from Coringão!
In the ninth minute, Timão tried to play on the right with Jerry Vinicius, who was disarmed and got a corner. In the 16th minute, Juventus equalized. Corinthians made a mistake with the ball and the opponent, with the penalty area free, reached a draw. 1 x 1. Two minutes later, Alvinegro tried to respond with an offensive attack, but it was the Mooca team who were in danger. At 18 minutes, in a play on the right, Ronaldo Henrique competed with the opposing athlete and covered the baseline, sending it to the corner.
With 22 minutes, the match between the teams was even. Timão had greater control of possession, while the opponent scored behind the ball line and waited for a mistake from Alvinegro to, who knows, pose a threat in attack. Three minutes later, the Parque São Jorge club started attacking again and got a corner on the left. After a dispute inside the small area, Ronaldo Henrique finished wide.
In the 29th minute, Juventus had a foul in the middle. On the beat, towards the middle of the area, goalkeeper Matheus Alemão came out and stayed with it. Two minutes later, Timão's comeback! Ji Paraná received the ball in midfield and reversed it to the right, where Kevin Fernando, alone, headed it under the goalkeeper's legs and it fell into the back of the net! Score: Corinthians 2 x 1 Juventus.
After regaining the advantage on the scoreboard, Corinthians began to control the match more and remain more in the offensive field. In the 35th minute, Ji-Paraná received the ball in the middle and shot firmly past the goalkeeper. Soon after, Timão set up a move on the left and Jerry Vinicius almost scored when he won a split with the Juventus goalkeeper. During a corner kick from the left, the rival's goalkeeper had the ball in his hands.
When the clock reached 40 minutes, the referee added two minutes. In the final moments, almost Timãozinho's third! In an armed play from behind, Luan Banhado received the ball on the left wing and crossed into the area and the Timãozinho player almost scored, but the goalkeeper saved it! At 42, end of the first stage! Corinthians 2 x 1 Juventus!
Second half
To start the second stage, coach Guilherme Nascimento kept the same team. The first minutes of the second stage between Corinthians and Juventus-SP. In the first minute, Matheus Alemão made a save inside the area, after playing on the right, but a penalty was subsequently awarded. On the beat, the Mooca team kicked out!
Juventus started the second half adopting an offensive stance and created difficulties for Timãozinho. After four minutes, the opposing right-back made an individual play, made two passes, but missed a deep pass and the ball ended up in the hands of Matheus Alemão. At six minutes, Ronaldo Henrique launched Jerry Vinicius deep, he won the fight on the baseline and rolled the ball for Piracicaba to hit. The play, however, was disallowed for offside.
At seven minutes, Timão's third goal! After playing inside, Luan Banhado received the ball in the penalty area and slid under the arms of the opposing goalkeeper! Corinthians 3 x 1 Juventus! Two minutes later, Corinthians made a mistake with the ball, but Juventus didn't take advantage. In a counterattack from the right shortly afterwards, Timãozinho almost scored the fourth.
Soon afterwards, Juventus got scared with a dead ball shot. Then, the first two changes at Timão: defender Felipe Aguirra left for Estevão Balarin; midfielder Ji Paraná gave way to midfielder Lucas Lopes. At 14 minutes, Corinthians' fourth goal! Jerry Vinicius received a cross from the right and the number 9 just pushed it into the back of the net! Three minutes later, Alvinegro made another mistake with the ball and Juventus scored the second goal with the number 9.
Shortly before, Kevin Fernando, Gustavo Salles and Rhyan Ladeira left the pitch for the entrance of Brenno Augusto, Rafael Luiz and Miller Henrique, respectively. With 20 minutes, Corinthians had control of the match. In the 22nd minute, Juventus had a foul on the right midfield and almost scored for the third time, but Matheus Alemão was there to save it! Soon after, Corinthians, playing on the left, saw Lucas Lopes shoot hard, from midfield, into the hands of the Juventus goalkeeper.
Afterwards, Juventus got a corner, after the number 10 had a shot deflected. In the charge, Timão's defense cleared it. In the 27th minute, Léo Amistá and Lucca Caramico came on to replace Pedro Nogueira and Piracicaba, respectively. Four minutes later, Timãozinho tried to counterattack with Jerry Vinicius who, when trying to pass to Léo Amistá, who was passing free, ended up being intercepted.
In the 35th minute, Corinthians built a play inside, close to the penalty area. Léo Amistá received it and sent it to Jerry Vinicius who, when he left it to Brenno Augusto on the right end line, had the pass intercepted. In a rehearsed corner kick from the same side, the Juventus-SP goalkeeper had the ball in his hands.
When the timer reached 40 minutes, three minutes were added. In the final stretch, Matheus Alemão passed a closed cross for a corner. From the penalty spot, Juventus almost scored a third after the opposing athlete went up unmarked in the penalty area. Shortly before, Timão had been managing the result by holding the ball in the attacking field and getting some corners with Léo Amistá and Ronaldo Henrique.
At 41, Matheus Alemão made a great save in the corner after a counterattack set up by Juventus. In the corner, Alvinegro cleared it and, on the other hand, Juventus made a cross straight out! At 43, end of game: Corinthians 4 x 2 Juventus!
