IGP-M: Rent inflation falls 0.39% in the 1st preview of July, points out FGV

The IGP-M (General Price Index - Market) registered a drop of 0.39% in the first preview of July, as announced by Fundação Getulio Vargas this Thursday (9). In the first preview of June, the indicator had registered an increase of 0.21%.

The movement was supported by the retraction of the Broad Producer Price Index (0.09% to -0.66%).

There was also a loss of strength in the IPC-M (Consumer Price Index) in this reading, from 0.32% in June to 0.01% in July.

The INCC-M (National Construction Cost Index) slowed to 0.69% in the first preview of July, after rising 0.77% in the previous reading.
