IGP-10: "Rent inflation" falls 0.30% in June, shows FGV

The IGP-10 (General Price Index - Internal Availability) fell 0.30% in June, after rising 0.89% in May, FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas) announced this Tuesday (16).

The result was close to the bottom of estimates from financial market analysts interviewed by Projeções Broadcast, who estimated a drop of 0.35% to an increase of 0.92%, with a positive median of 0.54%.

The IGP-10 accumulated an increase of 3.16% in the year and an increase of 2.15% in 12 months.

Among the components of the IGP-10, the Broad Producer Price Index (IPA-10) fell 0.71% in June, compared to an increase of 0.95% in May.

The Consumer Price Index (IPC-10) rose 0.56% in June, after an increase of 0.68% in May.

The National Construction Cost Index (INCC-10) increased 0.92% in June, compared to an increase of 0.86% in May.

The price collection period for the June index was from May 11 to June 10.
