Igor Coronado's spell at Corinthians was brief, but marked by beautiful goals with the black and white shirt. In conversation with influencer Juninho Manella, from Vosso Canal, the midfielder recalled his moments at the Parque São Jorge club, spoke of a "dream come true", recalled some difficulties faced in Brazilian football and revealed that he does not think about returning to play in Brazil.

"My whole family was Corinthians. After I left Brazil [for the first time], I lost my connection with Brazilian football a little. I left when I was 12, so I didn't have much of an opportunity to follow it, because of the time difference and everything. It was very difficult. But my whole family is Corinthians, anyway, there was always something more for me [playing for Corinthians]", he began.

"I never really wanted to play in Brazil, but when the opportunity to come to Corinthians arose, there were many situations that spoke more strongly. It was a dream come true to be there, but also a lot of frustration and a lot of expectations, which is part of football. But, so, I don't regret anything. It was a dream come true", said Coronado.

When asked by Juninho Manella if the calendar was the main difficulty faced in Brazilian football, the midfielder explained some points beyond those initially mentioned that used to complicate the situation in Brazil a little.

"The calendar, the travel... You take a week where you play in Fortaleza, then you come back from the trip, sleep in the CT, train there, have a day at home and, sometimes, the next day you travel to Argentina or Uruguay, to play a South American or Libertadores. The time at home with the family and everything else is very little", he said.

Passage at Corinthians

In total, Igor Coronado played 67 games with the Corinthians shirt, scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists. The number 77 participated in winning the 2025 Campeonato Paulista, in which Timão won the competition in a decision against rival Palmeiras. After winning 1-0 away from home, Alvinegro held on to a goalless draw at Neo Química Arena and won the cup.
