If there was ice, it was from the GDF in relation to the Union, says Durigan about BRB
The Minister of Finance, Dario Durigan, told CNN Brasil that, "if there was ice", he came from the GDF (Government of the Federal District) in relation to the Union in the discussions involving the BRB (Bank of Brasília).
According to him, the Treasury did not receive formal requests from the district government to address the bank's situation during the last few years and only started to discuss the issue after a conversation with the new governor of the DF, Celina Leão (PP), who took over after Ibaneis Rocha's lack of compatibility.
Durigan also said that he is following the case with the BC (Central Bank), classified as "serious" the application of BRB resources in papers "that were worthless" and stated that the Federal District currently does not have the payment capacity to take out loans with National Treasury approval.
