IBGE opens more than 8 thousand temporary vacancies; see details and how to participate

The IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) announced, this Friday (12), the opening of registrations for a new selection process for professionals interested in working in the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census. Contracts are temporary for up to 12 months and can be extended.

Registration can now be made exclusively online, on the IBFC website, with a registration fee of R$ 53.00. The deadline ends at 11pm on July 1, 2026, Brasília time.

According to the institute, 8,238 vacancies are offered, distributed among the functions of Administrative Census Agent (1,110 vacancies), IT Census Agent (1,089 vacancies), Regional Operational Agent (948 vacancies), Regional Census Agent (948 vacancies) and Supervisory Census Agent (4,143 vacancies), with remunerations ranging from R$ 2,128.00 to R$4,008.00.

In addition to salaries, all those hired will have benefits such as food allowance of R$1,192.00, transportation allowance, preschool allowance, proportional vacations and proportional 13th salary.
