All the heads of state participating in the summit were already present in the room. Trump then arrives and is directed to his seat. On the way to it, however, he stops in the middle of the table, in front of the press and speaks in a joking tone.
The moment drew laughter from those present, including some of the leaders, such as the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, however, appears with a serious face, until he is greeted by the president American, who would sit next to him.
On the other side of Trump was the president of France, Emmanuel Macron. Host of the event, which takes place in Évian, a city in eastern France, he ended up losing his role when he signaled the press to leave the venue, but heard the US president say: "Would you like to stay for the meeting? That's fine with me."
The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, was also present. In the images, he appears writing something at the moment Trump enters the room and does not show any reaction to his arrival.
A day earlier, this Tuesday (16), the interaction between Lula and Trump had already been small. The two posed together for group photos, but did not interact with each other.
The situation of the war between Russia and Ukraine was one of the main topics of the G7 debates. After a meeting with everyone this Tuesday, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that new sanctions against Moscow were discussed and that the leaders demonstrated support for Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
