The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), ruled out this Tuesday (26), on CNN Brasil, changes to the transition period agreed for the end of the 6x1 working day. He stated that he has "complete conviction" that the House will "make history" and approve the proposal this week.

"I don't believe in changing the transition. I think the one-year transition is fair," Hugo said in an interview. The proposal's opinion was presented on Monday (25) after agreement with the government.

According to the text, after 60 days from the promulgation of the proposal, the worker will be entitled to two days of rest and a reduction from 44 hours per week to 42 hours.
