Actress and model Cara Delevingne, 33, officially debuted her music career with the debut of two singles: "I Forgot" and "Out of My Head." The tracks accompanied a short short film, directed by award-winning cinematographer Jessica Lee Gagné. The productions anticipate the artist's first album, scheduled for the next few months.

The lyrics of the songs address issues from Delevingne's personal life, such as chemical dependency, alcohol abuse and emotional and psychological suffering. The compositions dialogue directly with personal experiences, which the artist has already addressed publicly. In 2023, the model entered a rehabilitation clinic to treat her health problems.

"There was this desire to feel like the real me was coming through over the phone, trying to free myself from this version of myself that people knew or had preconceived. So, having these moments of purity amidst that industrial and processed sound was really good," she said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

Sobriety was one of the ways Delevingne pursued her musical career. She has previously participated in musical projects, such as a song for the soundtrack of her 2017 film "Valerian", a guest vocalist on friend Fiona Apple's album "Fetch the Bolt Cutters", sang on St. Vincent's "Pills", and received songwriting credits on Dijon's "Baby" last year.

"There was a part of me that always thought I could do it," she says. "I just knew I would be a little older, I would have this experience under my belt and this perspective, this belief in myself."
