In addition to winning the long-awaited cup, the 2026 FIFA World Cup champion will also win a million-dollar prize. FIFA will pay US$50 million (around R$275 million) to the tournament's champion team.

In total, US$727 million (approximately R$3.99 billion) will be distributed among the participating teams, an amount 50% higher than that paid for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The majority of the amount, US$655 million (around R$3.60 billion), will be allocated exclusively to sports prizes for the 48 classified teams.

Check the values by position (about):

- Champion: US$ 50 million (R$ 275 million)
- Runner-up: US$ 33 million (R$ 181.5 million)
- Third place: US$ 29 million (R$ 159.5 million)
- Fourth place: US$ 27 million (R$ 148.5 million)
- 5th to 8th place: US$ 19 million (R$ 104.5 million)
- From 9th to 16th place: US$ 15 million (R$ 82.5 million)
- From 17th to 32nd place: US$ 11 million (R$ 60.5 million)
- From 33rd to 48th place: US$ 9 million (R$ 49.5 million)

In addition to the performance award, each qualified team will receive US$1.5 million (R$8.25 million) to help with preparation costs for the World Cup.

With this, all teams guarantee at least US$ 10.5 million (R$ 57.75 million) just for participating in the World Cup.

Brazil debuts against Morocco this Saturday (13th), at 7pm, at the New York New Jersey stadium, in a game valid for the first round of Group C of the World Cup.
