How many World Cup stickers can you buy with R$300 million from Mega-Sena?
Mega-Sena will draw this Sunday (24) a special contest that should reward the winner with R$300 million. And, during the World Cup season, spending the prize on stickers can be tempting.
The value of Sena is enough to complete the album. With the prize it is possible to buy 42,857,142 packs of stickers. Each package has seven stickers. Therefore, 300 million stickers. Enough material for a good exchange session with the entire country.
With this amount of stickers it is possible to complete 306,122 albums, if there were no repeated stickers.
The number is enough for the entire population of the municipality of Palmas, in Tocantins, to have one complete album per person. According to the 2022 IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) census, Brazil's newest capital has 302,692 inhabitants. In other words, there would still be 3,430 albums left even if every inhabitant of Palmas had a complete album.
If you prefer other cities with a similar population, Blumenau (SC), Franca (SP) or Petrolina (PE) could join the millionaire fiesta of big cards.
But what if we divided the prize or stickers equally throughout Brazil, how much would each Brazilian earn?
If the winner decided to share the 300 million stickers with everyone in the Brazilian population, each inhabitant would receive a sticker and there would still be almost 100 million stickers left for the exchange panel.
The 2026 album
The models in the 2026 World Cup album include stickers of the main players from the 48 participating teams, as well as special models such as stadiums, the event ball and the Panini logo.
This year's edition has 980 stickers. Each package purchased comes with 7 stickers, for a cost of R$7. In other words, each sticker costs R$1.
The album has 112 pages and is available in softcover and hardcover versions, priced at R$24.90 and R$74.90, respectively. Furthermore, the sticker book has almost 300 more stickers than in the 2022 World Cup edition.
