Instants: how Instagram's new feature works
Instagram launched Instants last Thursday (14), a new feature for single-view photos that only stay up for 24 hours.
Photos can be accessed in the Instagram messaging area and in an application created specifically for Instants, available for Android and iOS.
The proposal is similar to what already exists in apps like BeReal and Snapchat, which focus on more authentic and short-lived content.
According to Instagram, Instants is a way to share everyday photos "no edits, no pressure, just life as it happens".

The shortcut for Instants is in the bottom right corner of the screen and allows you to access photos published by people you follow.
It is also used for you to post your single view photos, which can be seen by all followers or just those on your best friends list.
The feature does not reveal who viewed your photos, but it allows other people to send responses or reactions with emojis that are visible only to the two of you.
And, even after they go offline for your followers, the Instants are saved for you in the archive, which can be accessed using the button in the top right corner of the resource.
Photo history can be shared in stories as a compilation of the last few days, for example. To do this, simply access the file and click on "Create recap".
