Hospitalized, Marquito gets emotional when talking about recovery after accident

Admitted to a rehabilitation hospital after suffering a traffic accident at the beginning of the year, comedian Marquito, 66, opened his heart to talk about the heart process and how much he misses being in front of the screen.

In a video shared last Wednesday (8), he stated that he is progressing well and overcoming everything that happened. "I want to tell you that I miss television and bringing joy to you."

An employee of Programa do Ratinho, on SBT, the artist guaranteed that he will continue fighting for everyone who wishes him strength. "I'm going to continue being Marquito outside of where I am, happy as I am. Sorry for my emotion... It's because it's difficult for us to bear this. Many people have gone through things like this in life, so be strong. Because God is with everyone. Be strong! God bless each one of you", he said.

On February 25, the comedian had a sudden illness while riding a motorcycle and collided with another motorcycle driven by a nurse, who gave him first aid. Days later, he underwent a delicate surgery, lasting four hours.

On March 1st, he was extubated and began breathing again without the aid of equipment. In April, the artist was finally discharged from hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation unit, where he has remained ever since.
