The series
The Japanese series, in which Hikaru was the protagonist, is in the tokusatsu genre, productions with lots of action, real actors and special effects. It was produced by Toei and shown in Japan between 1985 and 1986.
In the plot, the hero travels the galaxy aboard the giant robot Daileon to prevent the resurrection of the demon Satan Goss.
With only average performance in Japan, the series became a phenomenon in Brazil when it debuted on Rede Manchete in 1988, paving the way for the tokusatsu wave on Brazilian TV (Changeman, Jiraya). Catchphrases like "By the light of Daileon!" marked a generation.

Disclosure
A colleague of Kurosaki at the Diving Association in Motobu City, Okinawa Prefecture, announced the news on his Facebook page.
"We announce, with regret, the passing of Mr. Kurosaki, from the operator Mother Earth, member of the Diving Association of Motobu City. How Mr. Kurosaki lived alone, we send this statement to inform companies and industry partners. Since Mr. Kurosaki moved to Motobu more than 30 years ago, he has been a companion with whom we have shared moments of joy and difficulty - at a time when there were only about six dive operators in the region," the businessman wrote. The date of death was not given.
Actor Hiroshi Watari, who played Boomerang, the hero's space sheriff in the Jaspion saga, mourned his friend's death on social media. The two also performed together on stage.
"I am shocked by the news of Kurosaki Hikaru's death. This year, many colleagues from JAC [Japan Action Club, Sonny Chiba's action club] left. I will never forget what I learned on the Shinjuku Koma Theater stage and on the set of Jaspion. Thank you," wrote Watari.
