Highlight marks, and Vitória beats Internacional at home in the Brasileirão

With a goal from striker Renê, Vitória's highlight of the season with nine goals in 15 games, Leão da Barra beat Internacional 2-0 this Saturday (23) at home, at Barradão, in Salvador. The duel was valid for the opening of the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship.

The first goal came in the 28th minute of the opening stage. Attacking midfielder Erick hit a beautiful cross and found Renê, who completed it with a beautiful header to score the goal in front of a packed Barradão.

At 52, in second-half stoppage time, Argentine striker Diego Tarzia launched a counterattack from the left, made a beautiful move and found the net with a shot crossed. Inter were already one down since the 44th, after left-back Alexandro Bernabei was sent off for two yellow cards.

Vitória now has 22 points, in tenth place. Inter is 12th, with 21 added.

Leão will take a "break" from the Brasileirão to focus on the Copa do Nordeste. Vitória will duel with ABC as a visitor at 9:30 pm (Brasília time) on Wednesday (27), for the return of the semi-final. In the first leg, Rubro-Negro Baiano won 6-2.

Colorado's next opponent will be RB Bragantino, at 11am on Sunday (31st) next week, away from home, in the 18th round of the Brasileirão.
